Terry Tinkess is a professional photographer, writer, and educator He is a graduate of the Journalism program at Carleton University and holds a master’s degree in Canadian Studies, also from Carleton.
Terry operates his own studio from the loft of his hand-scribed log home and has taught photography courses at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario since 2007. He is influenced by photographers such as Jay Maisel, who he has had the honour of meeting on two occasions. He lives in Ingleside, Ontario with his wife Brenda, dog Mia and cats Chubbers and Wally. He has had the pleasure of capturing memories for people all across Eastern Ontario, either at his studio or at a location of their choosing.
Terry is a Nikon Professional Services member but is also drawn to Leica.
